how revise these sentence please so that readers can grasp the meaning clearly ?

2)during the November meeting of the Executive Committee, the decision was reached to eliminate wastage.



well, i think the 1) answer is " you should not takee 5 % discount off . " is that correct ?
please help!

Where did you find those two sentences? The first is very badly written.

Check your spelling (persent, takee) and remember to start every sentence with a capital letter.

The first one is a criticism of a past action, and the structure you need is: should/shouldn't + have+ past participle. 'Deduct' and 'take off' both mean the same here.

In the second sentence, you need to find a more suitable verb that collocates with the noun 'decision'. Look it up in an EFL disctionary or online ;-)
