"Couldn't / wouldn't be able to" and more

    Hi!
Here I am again to ask a friendly teacher two questions.

    1. Is the use of "couldn't" acceptable in this sentence: "If I had supernatural powers, I couldn't live like the others"?. Is it perhaps correct "wouldn't be able to"? Also, is it correct if I use it in affirmative form: "If I had supernatural powers, I could do many things for other people"?

    2. Is this sentence correct:If I had supernatural powers, I'd become a famous person, and I hate so!"?Wouldn't it be better to say: ".....and I hate it so!"?

Thanks a lot for your help!!!

1- You can use could/couldn't in these sentences.
    2- I'd use 'I'd hate that'
