    Hello Fofie, welcome to UE!

    Here are some examples. See if you can work out which tense it is:

    1. I would rather you didn't do that.
    2. I would rather you weren't so importunate.
    3. I would rather you took your own car.
    4. I would rather you did the shopping on Sunday.
