Shouldn't it be :in" or "on" instead?

He has peddled his wares at Sunset Road for the past 47 years.

Shouldn't it be "in" or "on" instead of "at"?

Thanks.

That depends on context and what "Sunset Road" refers to.

Thanks, Mike.

Sunset Road is a big road and some people sell their wares there. There is no traffic along that stretch of road.

Then I would say "at", if it is a known place to sell wares,

KristinDalton, something can't be "pretty correct". It's either correct or it's not. We also try to avoid the use of non-standard English on the forum so "Yeah" is not appropriate.

In addition, you will note that the forum guidelines require you to start your posts with "Not a teacher" if you are answering another learner's question. You do not need to write it if you are opening a thread and writing your own question. I have edited your post above with the relevant words.
