Suggestions for MA thesis in Linguistics

Am new here.Actually, am at the process of doing my thesis proposal, so am still confused which field should I go through. I thinking now of(Stylistic)&(Cognitive Linguistics) if you suggest me suitable topics or ideas, it will be a great helo of you.

In Stylistic, I think to choose a novel then I will study and analyse it in semantic level, or how the author using linguistics techniques through his work.-can you advice me some suitable novel?!!!

Regarding Cognitive linguistics, I think it will be interesting but I do not know specific topic.Also, I do not know if there were a previous studies or not.
