Is it okay to say:
I was told that X will come here

or

should I say:
I was told that X would come here

P.S: X has not yet arrived the place.

Thanks in advance :)

I suppose that's okay, but I think it would be more natural to say: "I was told that X would be here."

(I don't understand "Thanks in advance" and I have seen it a million times.)

:)
