Hi!, How are you? Good morning? Everyone knows that there is a Spanish, English, French, A, B, C... language, but is there a Spanish, English, French, A, B, C..."TONGUE" to mean the same?. I always used "Language" but one day I saw "TONGUE" (The organ) was used for that. Is it really correct?. Thanks!
Have a nice Saturday night!
"tongue" is a synonym for language. It's been around since 1535. It originally was used to refer to the spoken form of a foreign language, but today it refers to both written and spoken forms of language. Mind you, it's not all that popular, today.
