    English teacher

    Hello everyone
A Mathematics teacher can't be anything but a teacher of Maths but can an English teacher be a teacher of English but also a teacher who is English?

    Re: English teacher

Of course - English is an adjective, after all. If you wanted to avoid any confusion, you would have to say Teacher of English instead.
