Hello teachers ! I need help.

1.They have made so great progress ______.

A. for three years B. in the past three years

Question:Is either A or B good for the blank ?


2.They have made so great progress ______the past three years.

A.for B.in

Question:Which is better for the blank ?

The word 'such' would be better than 'so'. Where did the exercise come from?

Which do you think is the best preposition?

It should be "such great progress."

As it turns out, they are not doing well at all. ;-)

(In my opinion, "great" is enough. You don't need more adjectives.)

They are all correct, Ithink .However, it is difficult for a non-native speaker to tell which is better , so I 'd like to ask you ,native speakers, for advice.

Anyway, thanks alot though it hasn't been done .

"So" does not work.

They are all correct, I think. However, it is difficult for a non-native speaker to tell which is better, so I 'd like to ask you, native speakers, for advice.

Anyway, thanks a lot though it hasn't been done.

Please read all the responses. You have been asked where you found this exercise. You have been asked to check the spelling - did it say "so" or "no"?

Note my corrections to the spacing around your punctuation.

As has been pointed out, no would make more sense than so there. Or you could just delete so. Then you would have: "They have made great progress over the last three years.
