    Question Lesson Plan

    Hiya and help !!! I am preparing a lesson plan, so could you please give me an idea on what target language I can use at elementary level to describe a person's physical appearance. They already will have the knowledge of present and past tense, also question and negative form. Thank you soooooo much.

    Hair type: straight, wavy, curly; long, shoulder length, short (HAVE; BE)
    Hair color: black, red, brown, dark ___, light___, blond(e), white, grey; bald

    Grammar;e.g.,
    HAVE: has/have (got) || hasn't/haven't (got) || Has/Have ... got ... ?
    BE: is, are || isn't, aren't
    DO: Do/Does ... have/has ... ? <American English>

    Structure;e.g.,
    Her hair is brown.
    She has (got) brown hair.

    Adjective Order;e.g.,
    She's got long, curly, brown hair.
    Her hair is long, curly and brown.

    Activities;e.g.,
    (1) The Spy: describe someone in the room, have your classmates guess who it is.
    (2) Draw an alien, describe it to your partner and have her draw what she hears.
    (3) Describe an animal, have your partner guess the animal
    Hope that helps.

    One additional point- don't go overboard on the adjectives as they will be soon forgotten if there are too many.
