    Question Reference letter

Hi, what should be a heading of the reference letter of, say, John Smith? Should it be just "Opinion on John Smith" or something like that?

    Best,
    Nyggus

    Re: Reference letter

In a typical business letter, you'd use the abbreviation RE (meaning "regarding"). The phrasing would be similar to this:

    RE: REFERENCE FOR JOHN SMITH

(Usually subject or reference lines are all in caps)
