    neither

    1-I had neither much time nor money.

    Does this mean:
    1a-I had neither much time nor much money.
    or:
    2b-I didn't have much time and I didn't have money.


    2-I didn't have much time or money.

    Does this mean:
    1a-I had neither much time nor much money.
    or:
    2b-I didn't have much time and I didn't have money.

    The a) versions in both cases. To negate the second, I'd add 'any'.
