Dear teachers,

my name is Eleonora and I am an Italian student. I am currently part of a Master's Degree program in English and American Studies, and I am working on a research on cultural awareness in language teaching. For this purpose I have devised a questionnaire for language teachers. If any of you wanted to offer me 10 minutes of his/her time, filling in my questionnaire, it would truly help my research enormously.

Unfortunately your survey is technically defective. It keeps telling me that I have failed to completely answer one question, but does not permit me to revise my answer to that question.

I checked the settings. Everything should be fine now! If it does not work still, it might be due to an IP block which has been set to prevent multiple participations. However, I may deactivate the option (but I would truly appreciate if you could send me a personal message and inform me if you are re-taking the survey, otherwise my data would be flawed ).

Please, if any of you is encountering probes' same problem, let me know! I do apologize again.

(Uh, by the way. If you are taking the survey and decide to stop to resume it later, remember to save the code you can find on the upper right corner of the page! It will be needed to complete the questionnaire later!)

I can totally understand it I am very sorry about it. I am going to check the settings again, although it seemed to work for the other responses. Anyway, thank you very much for trying nonetheless! I do appreciate it!

It worked for me, but I answered it all in one go.

Me too... though it was odd that the 1 to 5 scale was a radio button selection in the first half, but a blank alphanumeric field in the second half. I'm not sure the survey was well constructed, either. Seemed to be pointing you toward the pro-culture type of answer. I am in favour of teaching language with culture, but surveys ought not to orient you to one side, methinks.

@konungursvia Thank you very much for your contribution.
It is the first time I devise a questionnaire for linguistic research, so I apologize if it wasn't well constructed. I tried to formulate my questions in order to be as neutral as possible, and I received both pro-culture answers and against-culture ones. However, I do thank you for sharing your opinion. It gives me the chance to improve next time!

hi all!

have you tried to ask schools directly? I've had same problem as you - I just needed information about specific topic, and asked some schools directly. You have 50/50 chances to get any answer, but it's still better than nothing!
that's much better than asking inviduals to take your survey!
