Could you, please, suggest a synonym of "psychal"? I cannot find the word in my dictionary and on the internet. Is it about madness or craziness?

Depending on the fuller context, I would suggest it is a mis-spelling of either "psychical" or "physical".

Where did you find that slightly bizarre sentence?

To me, it suggests some sort of free-verse-poem, where the author has "invented" the word for the sake of meter.

If you can't find it in an English dictionary you should strongly suspect that it's not a valid word; and as others have implied, it's not.

It's always important to quote your source so, again, where did you find that sentence?

I think all of Mher's quotes are from that Poe story about the guy who was buried alive. Can't remember the name of it.

Mher is asking a lot of questions, but he hasn't told us what the assignment is. It would help him if he did. My guess is that the assignment is for students to rewrite the story in their own words.

Except for the fact that we don't do homework.

102 years ago, it might have been in regular use. It's not now.

My thought exactly.

Oh, well. I never did my own homework. Might as well do someone else's.

So it is a good chance to atone for your sins, Charlie. :-D
It is a self-assignment. I am translating this story into Armenian.

PS: I thought I did a good job in keeping this forum hot.

You might not understand why we don't do homework here, Charlie. I hope one of the moderators will explain it to you.
