    Home or House

    Dear teachers,

If somebody ask me about my phone number, How should I answer?

" My house for number is.. or My home phone number is.."

    Thanks,

    Dean

    Re: Home or House

Generally, if someone is asking for your phone number, you'd reply simply, "my number is..." or "my phone number is..." If you're qualifying the response to indicate that this is your phone number at home and not at work or not your cellular phone number, you might say, "my home number is...."

If someone asks for your address, you could say, "my house number is...."

    Hi Ouisch,

    Thanks for your reply.

1-If someone asks for your address, you could say, "my house number is...

Can I say " My house address is.."?

2- If somebody ask me about my phone number.. I think I should use "asking" instead of "ask". Is that right?

    Regards,
