    in the can ?

The winds of time blow, secrets unfurl: my second love child in the can.

what does it mean " in the can " ?

Does it mean " in the jail "?

    Re: in the can ?

I think "in the can" in this context means "complete" or "done". The expression comes from the world of film where when a roll of film was shot and finished it was put into a tin (or can). Hence "it's in the can". It's a rather odd expression to use in the context of the phrase you wrote.
