Hello. There is a character, John Greer, in TV show Person of Interest. The character has a British origin and is played by British actor John Nolan. I noticed that he speaks differently from other characters. I am not a native English speaker, so all these accents seem to be the same for me, but not his accent. So, with respect to the characters origin, I guess that his accent is also "British", but there are actually so many of them. So can you please help me and name this wonderful accent.

If you are not familiar with the show, here is a sample of his speech.

It's an educated British accent. Some might call it an "Oxford" accent.

Baddies in US drama are often British. It seems to be something to do with the feeling expressed in a "survey" I discussed here - that British people don't "talk straight". :)

Note that your thread title does not use the correct construction for a question. It should be "With what accent does Mr Greer from Person of Interest speak?" or "What accent does Mr Greer from Person of Interest have?"
