When I use journey, I am only thinking about the travelling, but with trip, I include the purpose, so when I say 'my jorney to work', I am simply thinking about the commuting, but I would go on a business trip. A tour is moving from place to place.

Which means that you have actually gone for a business trip but you journey, travel, around the country to spend your leisure time?

A trip doesn't have to be for work- it could be for a holiday.
