    Default on attachment

    Again, when I was driving to my work i was listening to the radio and this guy on the radio said that he was working for some company on attachment.
    I understood from the context that he wasn't entitled to full salary, in matter of fact it was only a fraction of it.
    If you work on attachment, are you then a kind of apprentice?

    Hi!!!

    If someone is on attachment to another company, department or place, they're working there temporarily.(mainly BrE)
