    Dear all,

    would you please correct the following translated sentences? Are they grammatically OK

    Thank you very much in advance


    1.) The economic situation has been improved somewhat.

    2.) To come to a decision I need more information.

    3.) The fruit are not mellow yet.

    4.) We need more evidence.

    5.) I have often had such experiences.

    6.)The police have already arrested the murderer.

    7.) I assure you that our staff is very competent.

    8.) The bus had arrived punctually and we were at home in time for the beginning of the film.

    9.) Who is here the person responsible for the children’s safety?

    10.) What is more important to you – a safe job or job satisfaction?

    11.) At this oil prices you not only need an economical car but also an economical heating system.

    12.) The delivery takes place within 10 days after confirmation of order.

    13.)To be successful you have to do a lot of advertising on TV.


    14.) The value of the fee refers to the chart above.

    15.) I will be back again by the day after tomorrow.

    16.) Can you still remember your first kiss?

    17.) My husband works for an advertising agency.

    The fruit are not mellow yet- ripe?
    8.) The bus had arrived punctually and we were at home in time for the beginning of the film. - I'd use the past tense here
    a safe job or job satisfaction?- I'd use 'job security'
    within 10 days after confirmation- of confirmation
    14.) The value of the fee refers to the chart above. - unclear to me
    red wine is last- wine lasts
    19.) How many people took part at this demonstration?- in
    24.) By the time he was eight, he has lived in France. - had
