I couldnīt stand it-I couldnīt stand you

For a situation that was unbereable, I could say: I couldnīt stand it anymore!
But, when someone is unbeable can I say later

"I couldnīt stand YOU anymore!" ?

Is there another way to mean that?

    Thanks a million!
