    Default provide you with adrenaline?

"...This is not a licence to go out for a night on the town before the race, since excess stimulation in any form will only impair your performance on race day. The run-up to the race will provide you with all the adrenaline you can handle. Rest and relaxation is really what you need to do your best."

What does it mean by "provide you with all the adrenaline you can handle"?

    .
Adrenaline is a body hormone that stimulates your heart and metabolism; it makes you feel excited.

provide you with all the adrenaline you can handle = stimulate you as much as is good for you.

So... in terms of the whole passage, is it saying that the run-up to a race will give the runner enough stimulation so the runner doesn't have to get extra excitement other than this?

Yes, and, in fact, any more excitement might be excessive.

Err...one more question related to adrenaline:

"When the race starts, you'll feel a huge surge of adrenline, and you may get caught up in the moment."

What does it mean by "get caught up in the moment"?
