em - ploy - ee. I normally stress the second syllable - ploy, unless I want to make it very clear that I am talking about an employee and not an employer, in which case I stress ee.

Others may have different stresses. I am a BE speaker.

    I agree with Davy.

em-ploy-ee : the stress is on -ee.

What does "I`ll third that" mean?

Is it :I`ll be /I am the third person who agrees to that?

Very interesting. I`d like to know if I can use it in an informal conversation

    Thank you.
