    Smile food or foods?

As far as I know, food is uncountable noun. But I sometimes see foods, for example,

    1. I like Korean food.

    2. There are many kinds of korean foods( or korean food?)

Also, I wonder when to use kind of or kinds of, for example

    1. There are many kinds of cars(or car???)

    2. There is a lot of kinds (kind??)of fruit.

which one is right? Or do you have any other suggetsons?

There are many kind of Korean food.
There are many kind of cars.
There are(you use 'are' as you are refering to plural words here) a lot of fruits.
There are many kind of fruits.

I think the above ones are more sensible than others. But I would also like to know if I am right from the teachers. Also, I would like to know when to use 'kinds of',do people use that in sentences?

    1. I like Korean food - this is correct
    2. There are many types/kinds of Korean food [ food :uncountable noun]

e.g What type of food do you usually have / eat?

    1. There are many types of cars

Fruit has the same form in the singular and in the plural; this noun has 2 forms in the plural :fruit and fruits [depending on the context]

    Fruits are good to eat.[plural]
She is buying some fruit . [plural]
    She is buying a fruit.[singular]

There are so many fruits [ types of fruit] in that market!

"kinds of" is a phrase used to mean "types of".
