    Smile Accent

    Hi all,
Please help out with the following statement.
Choose the statement below that's true:
    A) An accent affects only pronunciation
    B) Accent can change the meaning of a word
    C) Every word has one and only one accent
    D) Every word has both an accent and a stress

    Thanks everyone for looking.

    Hi Candy
I think 'B) Accent can change the meaning of a word' is the correct answer. None of the other options are completely true.
    Hope this is useful.
