    Question green on matter of procedure??

    I don't understand the mean of "green on matter of procedure" in this sentence. Pls help me!
    "She hasn't worked here very long and is therefore a little green on matters of procedure"

    green = totally inexperienced

    a little green = possessing little experience (in the field of procedures, as in the example)
