20 metres (and) five centimetres...
Is it correct to say '10 hours ten minutes','ten hours and ten minutes','20 metres five centimetres','20 metres and five centimetres' , 'two thousand (and) ten','two hundred (and) fifty','two hundred (and) fifty thousand'... or do we have to leave out or use 'and' depending on what we want to say ? What about other similar examples?
Thanks for your help.

IŽd say use the "and" in spoken English, but then again Americans shorten things and say "go figure out" instead of "go and figure it out" as I have often seen in text books..
