    Thumbs down sluff = ??

    Hi, what does "sluff" mean? is it a slang?? could you give an example usiing this word?

    I think you might mean "slough," which is pronounced "sluff." It means to brush off or ignore.
    "He told her her skirt was too short, but she sloughed off his criticism and went to the party."
    "You can use a loofa sponge in the shower to slough off dry, dead skin cells."
