    Should 'the' be used in this sentence?

    He doesn`t like that country because of negative stereotypes about its people.
    .................................................. .....the negative stereotypes about its people.

    Using 'the' would, IMHO, be the more natural of the two, Njanja.

    because of the negative stereotypes...u r talking about something more specific..so I think the should be put there...
