    Talking 226-a sentence

    Hello all

Is the following sentence grammatically correct and widely used?

A big house is on the corner.

    I always use:
There is a big house on the corner.
    Or:
A big house is located on the corner.

    Regards

    Matilda

I always use the first also Matilda. The second is perfectly fine but very formal, and usually seen in writing.

Not really. Your two suggestions are good.
