    Keen on 'doggy' idioms?

"dog days" - very hot summer days

"go to the dogs" - become ruined

"not have a dog's chance" - have no chance at all (informal)

put the cart before the horse
To do or place things in improper order; be illogical.

Example: I think that buying a plane ticket before we make any definite plans is putting the cart before the horse...

''have got ants in your pants''= be unable to stay still because you are anxious or excited about something.

eg. Relax and enjoy yourself. You have really got ants in your pants about something tonight.

    Have a nice Sunday!
