    "hit" or "reach"

    Dear all,

which of these statements are more common?

    1.) I hit my target
    2.) I reached my target

    Maybe both are correct?

Yes both are correct. But I'm not sure which one is more common.Perhaps,it depends on situations.

    Re: "hit" or "reach"

    Hi Dany
    .
Yes, they're both correct and mean the same thing.
    .
I'd say if you use hit, the focus is a little more directly on the target alone (in German: 'Ziel treffen'). If you use reach, there is a little more of the sense of the motion to the target (in German: 'Ziel erreichen').
