    Smile Assistance

    Hi there can you check with me below as I am new to ESOL and practising on my own at present to see how I get on!!!

    I remember locking the door - I think this is present tense?

    I remembered locking the door - I think think this is past tense?

    I've been reading the book - I think this is present continuous?

    I've read the book - I think this is present past


    Select the Subject - I think this is I

    verb - I think this is walking

    article - I think this is an

    preposition - I think this is down

    conjunction - I think this is and

    "I was walking down the road and saw an advert for a French Course."

    I've been reading the book - I think this is present continuous?
    It's the present perfect continuous (aka present perfect progressive)
    I've read the book - I think this is present past
    It's the present perfect (or present perfect simple to distinguish it from the form above)
    Also, there are three articles in the sentence- the/a/an
