    Re: The epistemic "would"

    HINT1: I'm living in an ancient city in Japan, which was modeled on Changan.
    It's a beautiful city with ancient wooden buildings.

    HINT2:
    Beijing (North Capital)
    Nanjing (South Capital)
    Tokyo (East Capital)
    ?? (Capital Capital)

    Where am I living now?

    Right! It was founded in 794. That was too easy, wasn't it?

    capital capital gave it away. But, I have an advantage. I live in Japan and know a little kanji.

    京 = capital
    都 = capital

    I would have gotten it too, Nyugaton, and I hardly know any Kanji.
