Default how should I teach texts? need help soon pls

    Hello

I need your help with my problem: I teach English to young adults having different English levels (from beginner to upper-intermediate) and don't know how to teach texts: do a model reading or simply let the students read the texts aloud or do silent reading and give them comprehension questions? Thank you so much for your help.

I've never liked the idea of reading aloud- the person reading doesn't absorb the text and the people listening can often read often faster than the voice.
