    Kindly correct the following sentence

    "He doesn't want to hear any sound from the laundry
    room while working the units

    Or
    (He doesn't want to hear any sound from the laundry
    room while the units are working

    Both have different meanings. It seems something is wrong in first one.

    Sentence 2 sounds fine and makes sense in its own context. Sentence 1 only makes sense if "he" is performing an action called "working the units."
