    Default sound the alarm

at a beauty contest, the speaker talking:

"Sound the alarm, sound the alarm the best girls are here"

is it an equivalent to "make some noise", or "open your eyes" or something else?

    thanks already for answers:)

    Note: The correct punctuation is:

"Sound the alarm! Sound the alarm! The best girls are here!"

It is an exclamation, and is simply exhorting the audience to get excited, or 'make some noise' as you say.

It is like saying "Ding Dong! Time for lunch".

Just to denote some kind of sound
