    Default carnival jewelry?

Here is the sentence "Our only other income is from stringing beads for carnival jewelry."
I know jewelry, but I don’t know what is carnival jewelry?

My guess is that carnival jewelry is the kind you might win at a carnival--cheap.

    :)

It's a small world, isn't it? You never know who you might meet.
Once when in Rio I saw Tdol doing the samba in the street.

Whst is "a carnival--cheap. "? And is jewelry all expensive? I mean for example, whether a necklace made of plastic beads belongs to jewelry.

The kind of jewelry you might win at a carnival would not be expensive stuff. It wouldn't be real jewelry. It wouldn't have real jewels in it. What they throw off the floats during the parades at Mardi Gras time are inexpensive strings of beads. That kind of jewelry is probably something like that.
