    Wink Betty Siren says hello...

Hi. I'm a Canadian teaching in Taiwan and have just found this fantastic site.

What I'm looking for right now is the answer to this question. I'm teaching sentence parsing, and the sentence is:

Language is a system "in which" words have their form, content and value.

My question is in this particular context:

'in' is a prepasition? 'which' is a conjunction?

    Thanks for your help...

    Re: Betty Siren says hello...

'In' is a preposition and 'which' is a relative pronoun there.

    Welcome, BettyS.
