    I'm not sure I understand the question. There are two ways can't stand can be used. If a person can't stand that means he is unable to stand. If, on the other hand, I say "I can't stand you" that means I don't like you and I don't want to be around you.

    It's followd either by a noun phrase or pronoun, or a gerund:

    I can't stand wine.
    I can't stand her.
    I can't stand getting up early.

    I can't stand having to get up early, but I don't mind staying up late.
