Default New Kid on the Block

I found this site through a search for "glossary of grammatical terms" and ended up here. I have no foundation but I love to write.

Would submitting a sentence or paragraph for critique be within the parameters of what you guys do here? I am looking for two things; what I did grammatically wrong (I am sure that you can tell already that is a handfull in itself) and what I could have done to make it better.

I know your time is valuable, so if that is asking too much I still will use the site for the definitions and other stuff.

    Thanks
    David

    Welcome to UsingEnglish, David.

Short stuff is indeed readily attacked here; longer pieces may languish. Most of us are in some stage of ADHD.
