    Default exposure

    Hi, one question:
Does exposure mean commitment , e.g.
The country risk indices are used to assess the level of risk and the client’s exposure to it.

    Dear ME,

Exposure means the state of being in a place or situation where there is no protection from something harmful or unpleasant.

    All the best,

    1. As that reads, I would say that they are aware of a need that is greater on the scale of need than something else. (But it not clear.)

    2. The firms are behind in something and they need to catch up to something. That could be dollars, clients, successes, etc.
