    Default Some scattered questions

I'm sorry that the questions are a little scattered.

    1."Since April 1999 and beyond,..."
I don't get "beyond" here. Is it just the same as "since April 1999"?

2.You spend an enormous amount of time presenting a reading text through explaining grammar points and vocabulary.
Does "present" mean "read" here? I figure "present" is more than "read".

3.Speaking of differences between BrE and AmE,someone says,"For adults, the range of reference can vary between BrE and AmE".
I don't get "range of reference".Could you give me an example showing the difference in "the range of reference" between BrE and AmE?

Question4 5 and 6 are from "the Matrix Reloaded".Sorry,it's hard for me to provide the context.

    4.A:You're not human,are you?
B:It's tough to get any more obvious than that.
Does B mean that what A said is right and very obvious?

5.A:Then why can't I see what happens to her?
B:We can never see past the choices we don't understand.

    What is "see past"?

6.When closing a conversation,B says to A,"You've made of believer out of me".
    It means that B thought A didn't believe him(B) at first,but B thinks A believes him now,right?

    Thank you very much.

    4.A:You're not human,are you?
B:It's tough to get any more obvious than that.

    4. Yes

5.A:Then why can't I see what happens to her?
B:We can never see past the choices we don't understand.

    What is "see past"?
    5. "see past"... in other words "see beyond"... not sure if that makes sense, maybe someone else can explain it better...

6.When closing a conversation,B says to A,"You've made of believer out of me".
    It means that B thought A didn't believe him(B) at first,but B thinks A believes him now,right?
    6. It's actually the opposite of what you're thinking... B didn't believe A at first, but after their conversation B is now convinced that A is correct.

Sorry, this is only my 2nd post, so I'm not sure if I've explained these fully... if not, I'm sure someone else will lend a hand.

I agree with Jessica- the person has been convinced. I also think it should be 'made a believer', not'of'.
