    Default Rephrasing...

    Hi there!
Could you please tell how can I rephrase the underlined part:"It was very good of you, Sir Walter, to ruin your cloak the other day so that my feet should not be wet by that horrid puddle."
2.Is the following correct: "Now where is he?" she inquired as she handed him the money.
    A heartfelt thank you,
    AngelaT

    1. so that my feet would not get wet in that horrid puddle.

    2. It's fine, but I would put a comma after "inquired".
