Which of these sentences is correct:
1-I had lunch with my best friend Peter. Many would write this.
2-I had lunch with my best friend, Peter. Purists would prefer this.

3-I had lunch at my best friend Peter's place.
4-I had lunch at my best friend, Peter's place.

    The same follows for 3&4.

    Re:
    • 1-I had lunch with my best friend Peter.
2-I had lunch with my best friend, Peter.

The first one is okay, but I prefer the second one.

    Re:

4-I had lunch at my best friend, Peter's place.

Only the first one is good there.

    :)
