    Smile What does it mean?

Hello, Could you please paraphrase the following sentence for me to understand the meaning, the phrase in inverted commas in particular:

They are interested in how well we support our customers after "sales policies".

The only way that I can make a reasonable sentence out of these words is as follows:

They are interested in how well we support our customers' after-sales policies.

That is, our customers have policies that control how they act in certain circumstances. One of those circumstances is the time after a sale has been completed. Hence, an after-sale policy or policies. They (whoever they are) want to know how well we support those policies.

I could, of course, be completely wrong.

    It is a strange sentence.

For me, it asks how well the company supports its customers after it sells something to them. The word "policies" doesn't seem to fit. The company is not supporting policies.
