    Can you tell me please,when do you use WHILST? "guarded him while/whilst he slept" ? When do you use AMONG and when do you use AMONGST ?

    Whilst means the same as while.
    Whilst is a formal or literary use.
    Amongst means the same as among.
    Amongst (literary)
