A Conditional Senteance - Correction needed

    Hi,

    Is it fine to say

If I was/were to get good grades I have to study hard.

    If was/were + present + present / present perfect ????

    also,

A catch you fell into or
    A catch you fell for

    Thanks!

not quite sure what your second two are referring to, but the second looks better than the first.
