    Question photographic or photography

    Hi teacher
Would you please tell me the different between photographic club and photography club.
I have two example sentences here:1. I joined a photographic club.
    2. I joined a photography club.
Which sentence is correct and why?
    Please explain in detail.
    Thanks.

    Re: photographic or photography

Both are correct, but perhaps photography club is slightly more idiomatic. Overall, it's preferred (or it's more idiomatic, rather) to modify club with a noun rather than an adjective. Perhaps because in many cases there isn't an adjective to describe that specific club, for example "Chess club" or "cricket club".
