Re: degree adverbs with certain adjectives?

    Hi dihen
    .
    My opinion (AmE):
    .
    - All of the full combinations are natural.
    - The enough combinations sound completely unnatural.
    - The filled combinations might possibly be used, but sound unnatural to me.

Re: degree adverbs with certain adjectives?

    But do these sound unnatural?
    `
"I'm so full." (for "I ate so much.")
"I'm too full." (for "I ate too much.")
"The tank is too full." (for "The tank is overfilled.")
holding a cup and saying "Was it this full?"
    `
    too full
    too filled

    They sound OK to me.

    too full- OK
too filled- I wouldn't use this
